The service

Make Barcode Online provides a free barcode generator that runs in your web browser. It is offered without charge, without an account, and without a usage cap.

Barcodes you create

Barcode images you generate with this tool are yours to use, including for commercial purposes. We claim no ownership over them and require no attribution, backlink or licence fee.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the data you encode and for having the right to use it. In particular, generating a UPC, EAN or other GTIN image does not grant you the right to use that number commercially — retail identifiers are licensed by GS1, and obtaining them is your responsibility. You agree not to use this tool to create barcodes that impersonate another company's products or otherwise infringe third-party rights.

Verify before you print

Always test-scan a printed sample before producing labels in volume. Scanning success depends on your printer, label stock, scaling and scanner, none of which are within our control.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or the barcodes generated with it, including printing costs, rejected shipments, or lost sales. If you are printing at scale, verify first.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time. These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the current version.

GS1, UPC and EAN are the property of their respective owners. Make Barcode Online is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GS1 or any marketplace operator.
